I have build a new atomizer with 4ml tank supplied with a 1,2v Nimh batteries.
The resistance is near 0,1 Ohms (1,2v @ 10A).

I work on my board for control this atomizer and control the power:

I'll start a pcb prototype next week on 100 pieces ( two weeks) with:
- Pressure sensor (for automatic mode with variation of power as a function of aspiration)
- Current sensor
- Measure battery voltage
- Microchip 16F1824
- Tank lit
- Speaker
- Capacitive touch switch
-...

There will be 2 cards: 18mm diameter - 30mm length.
The Price is 2 € for the 2 pcbs.
I will start mid-January on a system of bulk purchase on the french forum for the pcb and component.

I will order 50 boards but no for sales at this moment. If all it's OK, I sale this board in January.
.... I have worked today....

This is my last card, I just finished to route. I still have to verify it.
His first name is MODULRA-2. I love it :vapor:
Features:
- Managed by programmable microcontroller with in situ reprogramming (35Mhz, 16f1824)
- Current measurement by Allegro Hall effect sensor with very low loss (0 to 20A)
- Measure the battery voltage
- Control of Atomizer with PWM control enslaves on current and voltage. The atomizer works at constant power which is adjustable in differents steps.
- Led proportional managed that transmits light directly into the tank through a light guide
- Piezo transducer (mini speaker) to feedback (for low battery power too strong anomaly ato).
The system is monitored continuously to detect any malfunctions and alert the user.
- Absolute pressure sensor with the arrival of air from the upper tank through the tube of the electrode: The system can operate in full auto with the management of the heating power with the depression in the tank. I planned a menu to configure the system
- 2 capacitive touch.

This board size is just 18mm diameter, 30mm lenght in full smd. It's a monster...

Thank you peaceoffcake, I find your mechanical work amazing.

Thanks but I only draw and my machinist do that part :)
Tomorow I will have some questions for you because I don't know how to calculate resistance on mesh to made atty without kanthal. But, please, I will understand only simple answers ;)

Hello,

I finished my card should cost $ 10 with the components and the PCB.
This card is to reduce the cost with no longer the pressure sensor and current sensor.
It controls the heater with the battery voltage. it can work with one or two NiMH batteries.
Tomorrow I will start making 50 boards and a mechanical prototype machining.
