i am trying to find more info on this battery it has been suggested that i not use this battery because it has a good chance not to vent bud explode. It is in yellow packaging and hard to find out info on it.

Trustfire batteries are by far the Most Cloned and Knocked-Off Battery there is. It is Very Hard to know what a Real Trustfire Battery really is. I don't even like using them in Flashlights.

What type of e-Cigarette were you thinking about putting that 18650 in?

And what type of Voltage / Ohms do you usually vape at?

There are far better and safer batteries available than any battery with the name "fire" in it - Surefire, Trustfire, Ultrafire, et al. These are low drain, protected ICR batteries.

In this day of modern battery technology, there is little place for a protected ICR battery for a mod. ICR batteries for mods are presently considered obsolete. ICR batteries are for low drain applications such as flashlights, bicycle lights, cameras, and laptop computers.

You want an IMR battery for your mod. These are high drain, safe chemistry batteries.

For a VV Voltage device like you are using, I would suggest that you get two AW 18650 IMR batteries.
