Vapor Shark rDNA flashing red during charging?

So on the 2nd day of my rDNA40 I went to charge it tonight and the LED around the fire button flashed red for about an hour before turning solid red and eventually turned into a weird rainbow color, which Im assuming means it charged because the battery Icon was full.

Is that flashing red LED normal during charging on these? The whole thing took about an hour and half before it changed to green/red/blue/orange on the LED.

First time I plugged it in straight outta the box the led was solid red and turned solid green within 20 mins. Cant seem to find anything about it on the net...

Sounds like a warranty return item to me. Dunno but that's how my MVP behaved when the battery finally failed (at ~14 mo's).

Seems to act normal when plugged into the USB port on my computer...

Dunno, the only time I've seen flashing red was on a failed battery -- but that was a different device. If the device is holding a reasonable charge, maybe it just indicates a fully drained battery. If someone else doesn't chime in, perhaps call the seller?
