The batteries on my Gamucci Classic died completely after a couple of weeks - whilst waiting for replacements I purchased a couple of compatible batteries from one of the well known UK suppliers.

Both the compatible batteries were great on arrival - each lasting a good few hours before needing to be charged - when I did need to charge them, I noticed that, when inserted into the Gamucci charger, the red led on the charger changed from green to red, as normal, but the orange led on the battery flashed a few times ??, the battery charged up OK in 3 or 4 hours tho'.

I then tried to charge the second battery - once again the orange battery led flashed a few times and I left the battery to complete charging - it stayed this way all day but the red led on the charger never went out.

I needed the battery anyway so I took it off the charger and inserted it into the cigarette - worked OK for a hour or so but then needed charging again.

On subsequent re-charges that battery (the 2nd one) refuses to take any charge at all, but the first one seems OK at the moment.

Both batteries still flash the orange leds a few times when plugged into the charger - but one battery charges whilst the other does not..........mmm, puzzling

Any advice re this problem would be appreciated........

Cheers

the lights blinkin is normal when plug in to charger at first. the fact the battery wont take a charge i would have to say was a bad battery from the get go. i would contact who u bought it from an explain to them how it was dead on arrival. if they are a reputable company to deal with im sure they will get a new one out to u in no time.
