... And discussions! Often works better with detailed breakdowns and insight from old-timers not obfuscated from noob-remarks as much...
Good call as well, but many times the discussions end up in "never land" so a lot can be gained from the reviews. If it's a 4 star or better, it's probably decent, if it's a 2.5 star, I'd stay away from it. Fair enough?

Yes, I agree and also check reviews every-time for sure. Both reviews and discussions are obfuscated of course, but with the discussions I can pretty easily see who don't know what he/she's talking about from the more informed poster, but reviews are "down-voted" by noobs with there first mech and if it works it's 5 stars, lol, without even disassembling it for cleaning/checking first... Of course I can also do "selective-scanning" through the reviews too and do, instead of relying 100% on the review-score(I know you don't, btw), but I know we both agree on this :) What I love the most and is most interesting for me is full breakdown pics in the discussions...

(Yes, a pretty good indicator indeed of as you stated 4-5 vs 2.5)

In terms of middlemen, fasttech is great if waiting for shipping arrival isn't a problem to you, just read the reviews and check out each version of the mod or atomizer you are looking for.
101vape ships rapidly out of carlsbad, CA. I believe angelcigs has an shipping warehouse in Los Angeles.
In terms of actual manufacturers, I think SXK and ehpro are probably at the top of the bunch, great tolerances, finish, 1:1 dimensions. My SXK prax1s is practically indestructible as well as indistinguishable from an authentic as long as it is assembled; the lack of rhodium plating on the brass parts gives it away.
It wouldn't surprise me if the two machine shops I mentioned above have equipment that is more precise than the shops that make the authentics. Some of the Chinese stuff is really well made.

If you want a Nemesis be mindful of the clones that don't have standard threading. Check reviews or discussions to make sure your clone will have the same threading as an authentic should you want to use a hybrid adapter.

Tobeco nemesis clones are not 1:1. Different threads.
Hotcig and HCigar are 1:1.

The discussions on FT are far greater resource than reviews. Always read both before buying..

If your order is all "in stock" items, and over $20 it takes about 9 days from China to Southern California with the free shipping option.

Thanks Ninja. I had no idea the Tobecos are not standard threaded! I had the white one in the cart from Vaporrange, time to remove the item!

Still pondering a couple sets of copper pins, but 7 bucks each...I dunno heh.

edit: Also, you are correct about FT, discussions are a better first place to look than the reviews. When a lunatic says something crazy or wrong about the item in the discussions they get called out on it heh.

I'd also like to add old discussions about items may need to be taken with a grain of salt as well, as the same SKU can be made by diff manufacturers over time.
