I dunno...i pay the $24 a year to help support ECF, 'cause the site as a whole supports me, not because i expect a whole bunch of extras (though i won't follow the click through ads either)

Advantages? Knowing that I'm giving a little back to help keep the board solvent. All that "hidden" gear and access is NOT free!

I've gotten a lot from ECF, more when I was a noob, of course, and just feel better about giving something back.
