Why have Aspire decided to promote a pulse rating for these batteries, instead of the Constant Discharge Rate (CDR)?

Because they are hoping to fool newbies and trick the uninitiated into not realising its a sham?! This is a very shady business Practice imo and I have just posted it fta of Mooch on his Patreon. Notice also how on their new 21700 they show in their chart the Temperature at a continuous discharge current of 20amps but not @30a and 40a...mmmmm, I wonder why!
Call me cynical but I'm guessing they've omitted that information for a reason. They have been spoken to by Mooch about this before so I'm honestly saddened to see no lessons have been learned on their part.

Over several days shopping online & in town for batteries this is standard procedure most brands.
