There's a story behind why I chose that screen name. I've been fascinated with him since I was a kid too. I was playing around in my grandparents basement when I was 8 or so years old and found a little wooden box with some old keys and pictures in it. I knew the woman in the picture was my grandmother and I knew the man was not my grandfather. I asked my grandmother about it and as it turns out she went on a couple of dates with Houdini when she was young. It was him with her in the picture and he gave her the keys on a chain to wear as good luck. I was too young to appreciate who he was and what a treasure she had at that time but when I got older I remembered seeing these things and got really interested in him. When my grandparents died the house got cleared out by other relatives that lived nearby and I never found out what happened to that little wooden box. Oh how I wish I had it.
