Hey Siouxsie (tried to write you a visitor message but of course couldn't find it). Yes, I do like the Melvins. However, when I wrote my first song I just recorded on a 4 track and had 2 string on an old guitar tuned down to D,A. Wish I could copy some bands I like, but it's a bit difficult with 2 strings (4 altogether, in case I break one)
