    I still have an HH 357 510 that came as a 2 ohm. After over a year of use on my v1 provari it reads at 1.7 - 1.8 ohms. Gets an alcohol bath and a dry burn bi-weekly.     I went from a kr 808 kit straight to the provari. Then I bought a Provape 1 for a stealthy option. I do construction remodeling, and beat the heck out of both of them.     Heh, sorry! I had to re-read part of my nfpa manual. You're right, I got principles mixed around. (3) 3 ohm coils in parallel should work out to 1 ohm. My apologies sir.

    The most recent diagram you posted is a parallel circuit. If those coils were both 3 ohm, you'd end up at 1.5 ohms at the switch. Your first diagram illustrates a textbook series circuit. Assuming both coils are 1.5 ohms you'd then have 3 ohms at the switch. Series circuits offer...
