    i did this with my first sheild i got when they first came out. Don't do this! making the airholes bigger strips the anodizing off the drip sheild, this causes rust flakes to form and they get all inside the drip sheild walls.

    well, i have a chrome lava tube coming in, maybe that will work with LR atomizers. anyone know if i can do 3.5v on a 1.5 ohm atty on the chrome lava tube? I hear it has an ohm reader now so maybe there are other improvments to.

    use a needle and take/pry the upper 0-ring out of the drip sheild, the one thats closest to the air holes. You don't need that one anyway and it increases the airflow and makes it easier to take the drip sheild off when you need to.
