Thanks for the comment. The holes allow the juice to flow in much better to get to the wick. Before I drilled the holes I was getting dry hits. Why? I'm sure it was me doing something wrong with the wick. The holes eliminated the headache (for me) to be precise with the wick. With the holes...- MrBobVapor

Are you using twisted 32 gauge for your coil? It appears twisted to me in your post. I'm using the 3 wires of twisted 32 gauge and building 1 to 1.2 ohm coils... They're working perfect for me at about 18 to 20 watts...- MrBobVapor

I run at 20 watts with a 1 ohm coil. Maybe I'm wrong about this but why run a .5 ohm coil at 35 watts and above when you can obtain the same thing with 1 ohm at 20 watts and not go through your battery as fast. This is what I did about ten days ago and not one dry hit since... Eliminates the need to be so picky with the wicking. In other words, you don't have to position the wick just perfect as to draw the juice in. This LETS the juice in without relying on a particular wick position or shape.- MrBobVapor

Simple method for wicking the Subtank Mini RBA
Glad that's working for you. These tanks should have been designed with bigger openings so that more juice could get into the wicks. We have different methods but both methods are achieving the same thing, more juice getting to the wicks.- MrBobVapor
