    Just bought an ego t!!

Congratulations! I thought that having a bigger PV would be sort of a hassle but it isn't at all, in fact I love that it doesn't really look like a cigarette. :)

Lanyard or simiilar for a KGO?

I keep misplacing mine at work (I don't do desk or stationary type work) and it's making me insane. I'd like a fail-safe way to keep it on hand. I've seen lanyards for eGos - would that work for a KGO, or does anyone sell such a thing?

    Fruit flavor favor...

I'm still fairly new so I haven't tried that many juices yet but my favourite so far was the fresh pineapple from Hoosiers. Among other flavors, I just ordered some more pineapple (from two different vendors) and Mrs T's orange and orange juice - the orange isn't supposed to be very sweet, so I...

So far $135 in and still not 100% satisfied. I think I need some help!

I meant to add - I smoked for 34 years, 45-50 smokes a day. I've tried everything to quit numerous times, I always got psycho and depressed and started smoking again. In the month I've been vaping, I'm down to 3-5 cigarettes a day, which is HUGE for me! I don't even like my smokes that much...

So far $135 in and still not 100% satisfied. I think I need some help!

1: I'm glad you asked about repacking cartos with the blue stuff, saves me from asking. :) 2: I was a RYO (handrolled) smoker so I don't mind the ritual of filling and topping off, since I rolled my smokes one at a time. That said, I just ordered a Resurrector carto, which holds a lot more...

    New vaper - indoor use

I've vaped quite a bit indoors around non-smoking friends and they say it either doesn't smell at all, or smells faintly like whatever flavor I'm vaping (eg caramel.) Only one person didn't much like the smell, she said it reminded her of faint cigar smoke, but said the odor didn't linger at all.

    Help, I'm scared.

(((Peace4me))) Agree with the others. And as a new vaper coming off of 37 years of heavy smoking (2 1/2 PAD equivalent - I was a roll my own smoker all that time, no filters) my morning coughing is gone, I am smelling and breathing easier and I have more energy. Also if you look through...

    GreenSmoke

Exactly! I started with disposables, then got a "real" kit which turns out to be MUCH cheaper in the long run and a million times more satisfying. Plus the battery lasts for a good 24 hours of heavy use (I got a KGO.) But the disposables are a weak, expensive gateway to vaping so you did much...

    650mah Kgo?

Just FIY, I have the 1100 KGO, am a fairly petite female and carry it in my front pants pocket at work. So for me, it's "pocket friendly." :)

    New to the scene questions

As an experienced quitter I can assure you that increased coughing (getting rid of crap in your lungs I assume) is very common without vaping. Since I've mostly transitioned to 100% vaping over the last few weeks, my morning cough is gone. Definitely drink plenty of water, that will help a lot...

I have vaped in two churches and a nursing home.

Also in a couple of non-smoking homes. All with permission except for the nursing home because those nurses are scary LOL. I'm a painting contractor by trade - am currently painting in a big Baptist church and the pastor gave me permission to vape there. In fact, he thought it was really cool...

ECF Community, what set-up helped you quit smoking and why did you find it so effective.

Like others, I was ready to quit (again LOL) and was trying to find a quit-smoking support group in my area but was finding nada. So I started with disposable e-cigs, using them for blocks of time without having my smokes on hand. I figured harm reduction by smoking fewer cigarettes (heavy...

How many PV's did you buy till you found the perfect one?

Welcome, Turkish - I think you're following a pretty familiar route! I started with disposables, but started reading this forum about the same time so after a couple of weeks got a KGO and started experimenting with juices and man, that did the trick. I'm still pretty new but am already...

This forum is full of hateful people

Same here, and I'm the co-owner of a high traffic (not e-cig related) forum too. I'm quite puzzled by the OP! So far I've found this to be a very supportive and helpful forum. That people have their opinions...well, yeah - I suppose some people can get opinionated, but I don't regard that as...

Want to buy pv for neighbor - need low-cost suggestions please.

Great! I'll just order a second KGO kit then - Hoosiers has them on sale right now BTW and I was planning on getting a back-up anyway. That way he can have one set-up and charger to start with.

Want to buy pv for neighbor - need low-cost suggestions please.

I have a lovely elderly neighbor who is on a low/fixed income because he had a stroke and is on disability. He really wants to quit smoking. He's loved the hits off my KGO and is very impressed with the whole e-cig idea. He wants one! I'd like to buy him a decent kit - plus it will be fun to...

Need juice that is neither tobacco-flavored nor too sweet. Recommendations?

I decided one reason, after a couple of weeks vaping, that I'm still smoking a few cigs a day is because all the juices I've bought so far are either sweet or too much like an analog (but not enough like to be satisfying.) I love all the fruity, caramelly, bakery-type flavors, don't get me...

    Sick of the local shops...

Well you answered that part of your own question! As to strength and flavor...you just have to experiment. As a former heavy smoker I'm good with 24 mg so far, and like you, don't like very sweet juices all of the time. Check out the e-liquid forum here; I learned a lot from lurking a bit on...
