Can't get my Alien to TC with SS

I suspected the device itself. I'm no pro but I'm good enough to make a standard loose wrap tc coil. I tried a firmware update yesterday and couldn't find it for the alien. I'll have to try again tonight. Thanks

Can't get my Alien to TC with SS

I have tried using ss316 with my Alien 220 and can't get the tc mode to work properly. I'm running dual coils in my aromamizer supreme v2. I have done 5 and 6 wrap setups with a 3mm diameter. Sometimes it hits fine and others it goes straight into temp protection. Others it will hit way too...

    Need a tootle puffer

I don't mind it either but the batteries I have blow. I think it's just time to quit altogether lol.

    Need a tootle puffer

I just remembered that I have a kayfun tucked away somewhere. Can't remember what version but it was a good tank.

    Need a tootle puffer

Hey folks! I am taking a step back from sub ohm and big clouds and going for a more mobile low profile setup. I'm currently using a kanger mini pt2 and a crappy battery. Is there anything out there right now offering a good consistent hit with low issues with leaks etc....? I would prefer...

I don't want an actual smokeless ashtray unless they work for vape too

    Smokeless Ashtray

Some of the older guys will probably remember the smokeless ashtrays from back in the day. Do they have anything like that for vapor? Trying to vape at work and I'd like to reduce the fog if possible to keep the complaints to a minimum.

First Build on the Velocity RDA Whadya think??

Yeah I think that's about normal. I'm at .5 ohm 34.7 watts and it's maybe half a second to really start cranking out the vape

First Build on the Velocity RDA Whadya think??

You mean .4 seconds to ramp?

First Build on the Velocity RDA Whadya think??

That's weird man. Should ramp right up at that power I would think. The thicker wire can take a little longer though I guess.

First Build on the Velocity RDA Whadya think??

Looks like 26awg? About a .53 ohm build. If it's ramping alow maybe you just need to up the wattage. Shouldn't be vaping at anything less than 30 watts

    Kissing kanthal goodbye?

I agree with you that there may be a slight step down in flavor but the overall advantages to me are in favor of tc. I don't need an absolute slap in the face when it comes to flavor. I'm in it for a safer way to get my beloved nicotine. I also agree we may see the day that tc devices or...

    Kissing kanthal goodbye?

UPDATE: I have vaped all day on the new Ni200 setup and I am extremely pleased. I have vaped my wicks dry probably a half dozen times. The only way I even notice is it the vapor is reduced and no more flavor. Fantastic!! No burns or darkening of the cotton. Couldn't be more pleased.
