Microcoil and cotton balls on Penelope
Thanks aalwani for reintroducing me to micro coils. About eleven wraps of 28g kanthal on a 3.5mm piece of silica. Using an 18 gauge needle in the middle to wrap it nice and tight. On the Penelope I ended up with 1.7 ohms. I used the half Mr Krinkle method. Meaning that I have one wick...- Sad Society

Microcoil and cotton balls on Penelope
I've tried my hand at micro coils on the Penelope, and with using cotton (from cotton balls). The problem I have is the cotton doesn't last very long, maybe a week at most. Also it takes too long for the coil to heat up. Is there any solution for this? I'm using a Vamo V2 with the Penelope...- Sad Society

Vcore - vertical micro coil in oddy/kayfun/Russian/Ithaca/ect.
With my experience with cotton. The cotton doesn't last very long. Also I have different gauges of wire, 28, 30, 32, and 32 works best for me. The thicker wires take longer to heat up. Which is kinda of pain. It might me different if your using a mech mod. But I couldn't tell you since I...- Sad Society
