Many would answer but I just happened to be here. Email Drew on his web site and request to be added to the notification list when they come back into stock.
$26?? How can anyone take such a "bid" seriously? Choppers polishing and finishing service STARTS at that level. I would think, as these are custom finishes (and REALLY nice ones at that), starting bid might be original LIST price - or very close to it.
Just a heads up - directly quoted from the Evolv site: The Kick Instructions « Evolv
Pretty sure the Evolv Modder's Board is not far away - might consider waiting. Then again, V-Gigs is V-Gigs...
7less7,
These look great. If you get it ready, I'd love one with the longer mouthpiece (like on the Clef noted ProVari in first pic). I use the 801/fusion cartos so standard size would be perfect. Will you make any wider for more capacity - like 5ml?
Grats on what looks like an awesome design!
I've posted this in several threads. I use 2.8Ωs cartos and usually vape in the range of 8.5 thru 9-ish watts. I average 6 hours (+/-), depending on how much I am vaping, using an AW IMR 18490 battery and the Kick. I get consistent hits first to last. Here are under load photos with Kick in...
Sorry about that too - I know you are very well intentioned and looking to help. I could have been more gentle about it. Glad to see we are in agreement about safety. I wish more saw the significance of this.
Again, sorry.
Ummmmm - I think they are AW LifePO4s - as stated in the quote you copied. The 1.9 is reverse calculated based on voltage drop-off from the under load reading (using an Ohms Law calculator). The batts push what they push. I am not getting into "safety" as I only did this as a test to answer...
FWIW: 2xAW LifePO4 rcr123a do not put out 6V under load. They do not have sufficient max amps push. Put them on an under-load meter and see the voltage drop-off. Ohms Law MUST balance and the max amps push of those batts becomes a limiting factor.
I am not 100% sure what the max amps push...
Look closer and you will see those lines are there for a reason. The numbers are larger and spaced (on the circuit board) around the blue-box/potentiometer. But the white turn screw is much smaller. Due to this size/spacing difference, the larger numbers cannot align exactly with the screw...
I am not 100% sure what question you are really asking. There is NOTHING being mocked here. This is very serious. Look up the people involved and you will find ALL of us are completely dedicated to vaping, Tobacco harm Reduction, supporting CASAA, helping vapers, helping smokers get off...
I will give this one more try. But this has all been covered many times. If you "read it fast", don't follow the conversation, and then come back asking people to spend more time explaining to you what has already been discussed - it is sort of disrespectful to those of us who have spent great...
My response to run times - in another thread.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/274052-how-do-you-like-your-kick-evolv-8.html#post5473834
From another thread - not all relevant but addresses SOME of your request for "run times"
There are also many variables which can contribute to your unloaded voltage when the low-batt cut-off activates. It is set to activate at 3.2 volts UNDER-LOAD which will usually be in the 3.4-3.6 volts...
Remember, DCs are unique animals. They are two much higher ohms coils wired in parallel resulting in a much lower Ωs reading/rating. The power is being spilt between two much higher ohms coils resulting in a MUCH cooler vape compared to the same ohms on a single coil. I realize you may be well...
I sent this to ltrainer in PM and then decided it is good info for this thread - so, ltrainer, please understand, I am posting here for the benefit of all.
Actually, if you read these links: We Are Vapers | An Exploration into the World of Harm Reduction | We Are Vapers and We Are Vapers -- IndieGoGo you will see that no one is profiting - other than possibly CASAA which is no "profit" at all. The ENTIRE team is ALL volunteer - no one makes even a...
oplholik,
I like Mikey3's shape.
Perhaps it could be combined with the side cuts like this one (on all vertical surfaces)?
Do you have an updated wood selection?
Would be great if you could also post a list of devices/mods you already have the dimensions for the holes.
A list, preferably...
