Hey folks. If you are thinking you need and want something to hold your PV's, batts, juice bottles, let me know, and I will work with you to see if we can't come up with a caddy to suit your needs. For wood I have red oak, and some walnut. Here is a link to some that I have done. http://s170.photobucket.com/albums/u275/oplholik/Completed Caddys/
I try to keep these as reasonably priced as I can, as I know that we have many other things we need to spend our money on. Prices usually run $22.00 - 27.50 + Priority small flat rate box, $5.35, or Priority medium flat rate box, $11.35, I believe these are the new rates.
If I can answer any questions for you, don't hesitate to post here, or pm me.

Thanks.

Hey, guys, Oplholik customs makes these things to your specs. Mine came out perfectly as I wanted it. If you're looking for a coffee table or end table caddy for your vaping devices and supplies, he'll make one for you.
They're beautifully finished and do the job as designed.

Have him make one for you, too...

Hi Paul... Just creating virtual 3D models for my train hobby.
I just sold all my painting 'studio' to a neighbor. Took a small loss but not bad. Oil painting just wasn't my cup of tea. I'm a computer geek and love it.

Been a little slow for you lately?
Business is like sex... when it's bad, it's great but when it's good, it's better. LOLOL

It's good to stick with what you like, but doesn't hurt to try something new either. Never know what talents will be uncovered. :)
I've backed away from my layout the last couple months, good to take a breather a once in a while. Got quite a bit of scenery work done, a yard area built with an engine repair facility. At a point now, that I need to figure some roads for access and transportation, before doing much else.
The caddy shop has been fairly busy, after a slow down at the end of the year. :) Watching the thread can be kinda deceiving, as most just read here, then pm me and we go from there, so not a lot of action here. I usually have a couple in the works at any given time, and that's a good pace for me. Some things I can do in making a caddy, some I can't, but I enjoy working on them.
Good to hear from ya Rick, feel free to pop in anytime, or pm, email. Take care.

oplholik,
I like Mikey3's shape.
Perhaps it could be combined with the side cuts like this one (on all vertical surfaces)?

Do you have an updated wood selection?
Would be great if you could also post a list of devices/mods you already have the dimensions for the holes.
A list, preferably pics, of felt color choices would be great too.
I know we had an email discussion about these a while back but I am getting closer to going forward - just need the above info.
Thanks!

That's a good idea Nebula, I'll see what I can get together here shortly. Thanks!
As far as the cuts on the surfaces go, on the stepped design, a large radiused cut wouldn't work very well, tho something much smaller would be an idea. Those steps are only 3/4" tall.
The felt colors I have around are the basic colors, but can get almost any color anyone would want.
As far as wood goes, I have Red Oak, and can be stained, or left natural, and I have some walnut. These I use mainly due to ease of working, and they look nice, and the wood doesn't cost an arm and a leg. :) I can get many different woods, problem is I have to get so much of it at a time, I can't buy just what I need, and that makes it awfully expensive to do a custom order.
Keep in touch, feel free to ask any questions any time, and when you are ready, we'll figure something out. :)
