    Part of the problem is that a lot of this stuff is anodized not painted so it can be difficult/expensive to get deep, true colors. Lighter colors are cheaper and faster.

    It all depends on the design. For example the Sigelei #20s switch is literally a hot mess, just a poor design prone to misfiring. But the #24 while not the best set-up either doesn't have anywhere near the problems. Buyer Beware.

    I only age (I don't like the term steeping) my juices if I don't like them when I first get them. I haven't found any juices that get substantially better with age but some of my sub par flavor have turned vapable or at least mixable with a couple of weeks cap off aging.
