A top-side button like the Roller.

Have you seen the tide of clones a'coming?

Maybe we can get a Roller clone that isn't a complete crapsack. I'll buy the original when I can afford it but in the mean time...

First post, new member, many questions..............

I'd recommend the SID with an ARO BCC and some extra heads. As for batteries highly recommend the Panasonic High Drain NCR18650PD, they are rated at 2900mah for long charge life and a 10 amp draw rating so they can handle anything a VV device can throw at it. For a charger get a you can't go...

    Coil resistance, and wire gauge.

32AWG (American Wire Gauge) thicker wire, lower resistance 35 AWG thinner wire, higher resistance

Is there a small enough battery for smok magneto?

Go BIG or go home! 15,000mah!!!

    Viable noob rig?

I've got the SID with an ARO on it and it's the easiest thing I've ever used, I call it my training wheels. It's what I take to the bar when I know I'll need something hassle free.

I think I might be done.

A little advice from an old-timer who's been there. DON'T GET RID OF YOUR GEAR!! I made that mistake two and a half years ago, tapered down to zero-nic, stayed there for 5 to 6 months and dropped it, sold/trashed my gear and was good for 6 months. I got a new, more stressful job and ended up...

    Has Anyone Seen These......

16340s I went digging through my battery stash and checked. I've got Trustfire ICRs at 880mah and AW IMRs at 550mah, still not a lot.

Buying first APV.....Smoktech SID or Vamo V5

I've run the SID for almost 5 months and not a single hiccup, still going strong.

    18350 Mech

If you are running AWs or Efests and you keep your resistance above .85 ohm you'll be in the clear ratings wise, although I wouldn't do it myself. I try to keep my amp draw to half the continuous amp rating as an additional safety measure.

    Panasonic NCR18650PD?

I got mine from RTD and I love 'em! I'm a little leery using them in a mech because they are a hybrid and not a full IMR so I use them in my SID and they can last better than 2 days but I usually change them out after one.

    Why wasn't I warned.

DON'T DO IT!!! You'll catch it! You'll get Modyoumust Fever!!!8-o:shock::blink:

Gotta mech mod copy tube on the way from ft,

For a torch I'd recommend a butane over propane or MAPP gas. I tried my MAPP gas torch and it's too hot, melted the mesh. Go with something like this.

    Good Portable Kit?

    WRONG! It is portable!

mech with side firing magnetic switch??

I saw a post around here somewhere where they took one apart. I know I could get mine apart but I can't be sure I could get it back together.:confused::facepalm:

    OK, I admit it...

You're not all that alone, I wouldn't call myself a fanboy but I love my SID and ARO. The two together are the closest I've come to plug and play, stupid proof vaping.

    Mods?

It means either a Moderator such as the old noob four slots above me^^^ :) or it stands for Modifierd E-cig which is what we called APVs (Advanced Personal Vaporisers) back when the only way to get them was to make or Mod your own. EDIT I really wish I could type faster!

    Mech Mod Problems

Check to see if your screws on the atty are tight, that's the problem 99% of the time for me.

im finally getting an atomizer ohm checker!

I thought it was a goofy idea when it first came out too, this was before rebuildables hit it big. I thought it looked like a solution looking for a problem, well it found one! When I build I put my cleaned atty on the box with the wire in the posts and adjust the length to get the resistance I...

im finally getting an atomizer ohm checker!

Ohm Meter for Atomizers, Cartomizers, and RBA's I've found that 99% of people who say these are useless either don't own one, don't make their own coils or both. I don't use mine more than once a week and still think it's worth every penny, one of the handiest pieces of vape kit I own.
