I'd recommend the SID with an ARO BCC and some extra heads.
As for batteries highly recommend the Panasonic High Drain NCR18650PD, they are rated at 2900mah for long charge life and a 10 amp draw rating so they can handle anything a VV device can throw at it.
For a charger get a you can't go...
I've got the SID with an ARO on it and it's the easiest thing I've ever used, I call it my training wheels. It's what I take to the bar when I know I'll need something hassle free.
A little advice from an old-timer who's been there. DON'T GET RID OF YOUR GEAR!! I made that mistake two and a half years ago, tapered down to zero-nic, stayed there for 5 to 6 months and dropped it, sold/trashed my gear and was good for 6 months. I got a new, more stressful job and ended up...
If you are running AWs or Efests and you keep your resistance above .85 ohm you'll be in the clear ratings wise, although I wouldn't do it myself. I try to keep my amp draw to half the continuous amp rating as an additional safety measure.
I got mine from RTD and I love 'em! I'm a little leery using them in a mech because they are a hybrid and not a full IMR so I use them in my SID and they can last better than 2 days but I usually change them out after one.
I saw a post around here somewhere where they took one apart. I know I could get mine apart but I can't be sure I could get it back together.:confused::facepalm:
You're not all that alone, I wouldn't call myself a fanboy but I love my SID and ARO. The two together are the closest I've come to plug and play, stupid proof vaping.
It means either a Moderator such as the old noob four slots above me^^^ :) or it stands for Modifierd E-cig which is what we called APVs (Advanced Personal Vaporisers) back when the only way to get them was to make or Mod your own.
EDIT I really wish I could type faster!
I thought it was a goofy idea when it first came out too, this was before rebuildables hit it big. I thought it looked like a solution looking for a problem, well it found one!
When I build I put my cleaned atty on the box with the wire in the posts and adjust the length to get the resistance I...
Ohm Meter for Atomizers, Cartomizers, and RBA's I've found that 99% of people who say these are useless either don't own one, don't make their own coils or both. I don't use mine more than once a week and still think it's worth every penny, one of the handiest pieces of vape kit I own.
