I did the opposite! :D I had a brass SMPL clone in my cart and I saw the Tesla Two and ended up getting that instead. The button on this is stellar - really impressed. I've used mods that were three times the price with crappier buttons. That LE80 looks interesting I'll have to look into that... -

Looking for a small, inexpensive, unregulated box and this one has caught my eye. I guess it's not technically 100% 'mechanical' as it has short circuit protection and under power battery cutoff - but this could be a great little unregulated stealth box that does away with having to worry too... -

Thanks for tips and the pictures Tom. I've tried that 'chain link' coil build you suggested - I thought I was using 30g wire but realised yesterday I'd been using 32g. It took a couple of goes but now my wires come out nice and straight. The first couple got a bit 'crinkly' when I did the final...- smokin909

That's very handy to be able to spin the pos post around - sometimes I like coil to be parallel with the posts instead of in between like you have above - having the option is great - depending on the build.
