    So after some closer inspection; There is some spit back into the drip tip with the hole extending into the bottom of the drip tip. Am I being unreasonable in requesting another drip tip?

    They make cookware out of copper. Copper kettles are used for all sorts of stuff, brewing beer, making candy. If your atty is getting up over 200F you've got other things to worry about.

    Expromizer availability in U.S.???

    Had mine for almost a month now. It's my all day device. Not a single issue. Doesn't leak, doesn't flood. Easy to build, easy to fill. All in all it's great and I would buy it again.
