Yup, I just read that you can actually go down as low as 0.06 and it still functions just fine. Sure hope so because half the battle is finding an atty you like and I've sold almost everything else except my pile of Origens!!! I think I'll rebuild the coils around a wider bit.
Here's my problem. I love Origen v2 drippers. IMO they really should be built dual coil. I see no way to build a dual coil with the DNA40 and have the resistance 0.10Ω or higher. Using 28g Nickel I built two coils around a 2.75mm drill bit with 15 wraps each! Comes out to around 0.065Ω. I could...
The DNA40 will be a perfect fit for bottom feeders or drippers in that both devices run wet-dry-wet-dry and so on. This board will make a dry hit a thing of the past. As I understand it, it's actually measuring the change in resistance of the nickel wire as it heats up, not the actual...
They are definitely open. Great folks that are knowledgeable and friendly. Kyle has become a really good mixmaster! Try his CSB (Cool Story Bro), his Big Blue Balls or his Strawberry Trik. I am constantly amazed when I go into a shop and the people working there act as if I'm invisible. Two...
Two quick points.
I'd be willing to bet that the vendor you bought those from will continue to sell them, even after you "point out" that they are fake. Secondly, If you can't afford to spend a couple of dollars more for a real AW, how on earth did you ever afford to smoke?
They are fake. Get a refund and buy your batteries from an authorized AW vendor. Batteries are the most important link in the chain of safe vaping and vendors selling counterfeits could be putting people at risk as the discharge ratings of the counterfeits are most probably not the same as...
I'm afraid it's not going to happen folks. Times have changed and the days of vaping "parties" has ended. These things have just gotten too big. What set Vapestock apart, in my mind, was the party atmosphere. Any vaping convention today would draw over 2000 people. Now I'm not the person that...
Seeing as AW 18350's are rated at 6amps, with a freshly charged battery at 4.2v the lowest safe limit would be 0.7Ω. A smart person would stay above 0.9Ω.
Just received my two Trinity mods, one brass, one SS. Amazingly small little devices with a great switch and no top cap. The top is a straight through 510 to battery connection. These two are in 18500 size and measure 60mm. Picture shows them beside a XXIX in 500 mode for comparison. It wasn't...
vapourz411, thank you. That's exactly what I needed to know. As nice as the Stingray X is I guess it's not for me. I understand what you are saying about their design intentions but really, if their intention was to build a switch that would only fire smoothly if pushed dead center, that's kind...
I love the look of this mod but having owned one the first Stingrays made, I just couldn't get beyond the crunchy switch. Please tell me that this model's switch is nice and smooth so I can buy one! Not pretty smooth, really smooth! To me the switch is the most important part of any mods I own...
I had a Magma and loved everything about it except it was leaky for me. I think I'm a fanatic about not having juice running down my mod or on my hands! I put o-rings above and below the air control ring and that helped somewhat but didn't look very nice.
Will do Bill. Nothing fancy really, just dual vertical 26g 8/9 wrap coils. Usually meters out to around 0.5Ω. I've tried lower resistance but I find I start sacrificing flavor for clouds at below 0.4Ω so I just don't go there anymore. I've sold all my drippers, except Origen v2's, because I love...
Just received my copper and brass Origen v2 caps from a guy on CV. Best part is that he includes a very well made matching drip tip with each cap for $25!
