Nope, it's the correct adapter. I contacted the vendor, and he's going to send me another one as he thinks I just may have an improperly manufactured one.
Just got my brand new ss Vamo today. I tried using a 510-ego adapter to fit my kanger MT3, but the damn adapter threads won't catch on the kanger, it just spins as the adapter circumference is a tad to small and won't make contact with the MT3 threads.
Anyone ever see a difference from adapter...
I got my Spinner, a clearomizer and a charger at PBDragon. They currently have a cheap starter kit with an ego 1100 mAh battery, Vision Clearomizer and Charger for $21.99
eGo Vision Kit
Make sure to pick up an extra battery though, and don't forget the juice!
I cannot get the 510-ego adapter to fit the Kanger- the adapter threads won't catch as it is a tad too small in circumference. Do the adapters vary slightly from vendor to vendor?
I just got my Vamo today, and have really been digging the MT3, but the dang thing won't fit :(
I purchased a 510-ego adapter to use the MT3 (same connector as the T3) with my Vamo. Unfortunately, the Kanger won't fit on the adapter- the adapter circumference is too small and won't make contact with the kanger threads.
Any suggestions/links to an adapter that would work?

The MT3 won't fit on my Vamo even with an 510-ego adapter-the threads won't catch on the kanger, the diameter is just a tad larger than the adapter. Plus the adapter is pretty short. Any suggestions on an adapter?
I second this suggestion.
I started with a couple Vision Spinner batteries, a charger, and a couple of clearomizers and some juice. Was inexpensive and worked good. I've already upgraded to a Vamo after 2 weeks of vaping though... I kinda wished I'd started with one, but I didn't know if I...
Disappointed to hear folks having this problem. Just received my new Vamo today... Works fine out of the box, but I'm going to bookmark this thread just in case.
I use both the keyring style one, and also a bullet punch which works beautifully. Some folks use a dremel and slot the cartos-something I'll probably try since I use a few thick/dark/sticky juices.
I just got a package of those very cartos today in the mail with my kretek reorder. Glad you had good luck with them with that juice, hopefully they'll work well for me. It is entirely possible I've had bad luck due to bad cartos too...
And many thanks to all of you that made suggestions to...
I have a carto punch, and have tried multiple holes-but not one above another. I'll give that a try.
I have a nice plexi tank, so I do want to use it. I have no problem priming or filling the cartos: I manage just fine with other juices, it's just the kretek that doesn't want to play nice.
I think you may be right! I have replacement heads for the kanger. I pulled out a bit of the wick, and have been vaping nearly an hour with no burnt taste/wick. I could try a drip atomizer as well. I have one for tasting juice, but I should probably get another couple so I can dedicate one to...
I've written to Tasty vapors for suggestions. I tried 2 other brand cartos, same thing happened. Tried a vivi nova and a kanger mt3 and after a half hour or so, getting a burnt taste at 3.7v. Change the wick and can go another half hour or so. This is aggravating, time consuming, and not cost...
I sent my comment. As a smoker for 35 years, I'd tried everything to quit, but it just didn't work because I liked smoking! Vaping replaced them easily, and I enjoy it much more!
