provari carto question
I use SR 3.0 single coil carto's in my tank, and I *think* I can get those pretty close to 6V.. I usually keep it around 4.9V though.. so if the effective resistance is actually 3 ohms (two 6 ohm coils in parallel) then you should see the same, pretty close to 6V. -
Initial fill on tank carto
I usually put about 10-11 drops in the carto, then fill the tank (I only fill the tank about 1/3 of the way, a full tank usually floods, in my experience), then let it sit for ~10-15 minutes to soak in.. You're over-reading.. I haven't checked my battery voltage in months.. When the provari blinks at me, I put it on the charger and put a fresh one in. I keep my 6ml tank + 3ohm cartomizer on the thing for weeks at a time.. I check the cartomizer resistance once, when I put it on.. (hard to tell... -

Thanks tearose! I haven't seen either in person, so I'll take your word for it.. Can you get a "regular" screen that has the lockable arm? Were they "revised" at the same time? I do think a lockable arm is important, especially if I use a tank, etc.. -

In a non-regulatory environment (under which PV's / juice currently fall), manufacturing and QC standards are set by the manufacturer. If they don't want to test any batches, they don't have to. Just because it's American made doesn't mean it's any better quality than something manufactured in... -

Good to hear! I love my Provari, but it's unwieldy.. Looking for something as nice, but more "packable" in luggage, bags, etc.. and charging / swapping batteries gets old. Do you use a tank system at all? I'm getting the impression the best bet for having a fair amount of juice is a drip shield... -

I'm looking to buy one, and I've got a "WTB" thread in the classifieds, but I was just curious.. for those who bough theirs used, anything to look out for? I know I'd prefer a new one (locking arm / blue LCD), but anything else I would want to check on? It should come with USB cable, right... -
How much to pay for a used Provari?
I don't understand it either, but some people just like to get "a deal" and not pay full price. Nothing wrong with that, just different priorities. -

When will I know my carto is done?
I always use the tank cartos, and I've never actually had one die on me.. When the draw gets too tight (you're putting to much effort into it to get the vapor out) I just replace it. I use 70PG/30VG to try and avoid the carto getting clogged, but it eventually happens.. usually about 3-4 weeks... -
