I heard back from Youde. The entire IGO-W including the posts and screws are surgical-grade stainless. Not sure about the IGO-W4 and others yet.
I made this thread so more people know because I've read many people concerned about brass and mystery metal coated posts etc.

I'm making a seperate thread so more people know because I've read many people concerned about brass and mystery metal coated posts etc.
Just got to make sure I don't buy an IGO-W clone now.

yeah there's a lot to understand before correctly doing sub ohms. I just learned the actual drip tanks have an amp limit themselves.
I'm just going to do RDA dual coils, micros with ribbon wire, then maybe the 40W Gi2 box mod will have been cloned and I'll get that to make things easier and safer.
thanks for the replies.
they shoud re-name micro coils as jumbo coils or fat coils or something.
I don't really understand sub ohms, I mean, the watts are like 20X past what an e-cig volt chart and myself know as a burnt hit. I'd think you'd get maybe half a second of great dense vapor and...
hoping someone can quote and dissect my post here. Thanks in advance

I didn't read much on sub/micro coils yet. Mashing questions together and seeing what I get. Hoping for a full quote and dissection reply.
I'll be making dual coils with an RDA like a Trident/nimbus/IGO.
I'm use a plastic Smoktech Groove which was recalled but I've never had a problem with...
Found out the IGO-W's surgical-grade stainless but not sure if that means the posts & screws too. Asking for help in this thread link to find a contact for UD to ask this question...
I read all stainless besides surgical-grade might contain lead. I made the following thread yesterday and since found the

thank you.
Spent a few hours researching and am still not sure what to get.
I kinda just want to get a $5 clone. I probably get lead from other things. A shower's basically a gas chamber even with a filter, cookware can leach chemicals, etc.
But vaping possibly hazerdous materials just ruins the vape...
thanks for replies.
The Ithica looks like a protank to me, and not even dual coil and possibly glued. I'll worry about a non-drip tank later.
What size ribbon A-1 kanthal (suposidly all that bakero wire was re-named as) do you recommend?
Approx how many wraps on each coil for a dual...
Thanks for replies.
I'm going to avoid FT clones despite being like $5 shipped. FT might have genuines for a similar price, either igo-w / trident / nimbus, etc. I'll keep looking.
Clones either might have brass posts which I read might have lead, have black allen key screws instead of...
Hi,
I've been using an iTaste MVP and Kanger protank for a while now and have had it with bottom coils. No BDC clearomizer suggestions either please. Removing/adding tiny bits of wick to get it to work right, and then it still starts gurgling later even on a full tank (no extra air), etc, plus...
