Research claims vape nic more addicting than cig nic

There is no solid ground to stand on using nicotine as the argument, unless it is proven that significant amounts of new vapers who have never smoked are now starting to use tobacco products. But that will never be proven, because it is not true.

Research claims vape nic more addicting than cig nic

Thats an extreme example, but most of the world's addicts are dependent on nicotine, caffiene, or alcohol... the later being quite serious. There are also behavioral addictions such as exercise, sex, or gambling. Some of these behaviors release natural endorphins. But saying that dependency...

    RDA Clone vs authentic .

speaking of 510 openings, I bought a Mephisto v2 back in May through the classifieds on these forums. I got a discount on it because the El Diablo friction tip was slightly loose in the 510 opening of the Mephisto. Got the Mephisto in the mail, immediately stretched that El Diablo friction tip...

    RDA Clone vs authentic .

Do you realize that wotofo a-mod is primarily a Chinese clone manufacturer and has only recently started to manufacture some cheap authentic devices at their cloning facilities? Genrally, wotofo makes good clones. I have a wotofo wide-bore cap for my wotofo freakshow and it fits perfectly...

Help Deciding on a Parallel Unregulated Box

The counter argument is that a mech box does not have a wired switch. Either it works without current passing through the switch at all, or it works by pushing some beefy copper contacts outside of the switch housing that press against some other large piece of metal. Its not the same as...

Help Deciding on a Parallel Unregulated Box

Anything with soldered connections is more likely for something to break or come loose, especially if you accidentally drop it. Hammond boxes with wired components would be easier to replace a component if you did damage it though, because the components are all generic and readily available...

Help Deciding on a Parallel Unregulated Box

The BC boxes that vapenstein mentioned have a toggle that can stack the batteries. So thats a bit different. But I bet all of the ones you are looking at work well, with similar voltage losses due to that fact that they are pretty much the same boxes with soldered connections to the same...

    What coil to get?

you need to wrap a high gauge (like 36g) around a lower gauge (24g). I usually get my spools from eBay. Usually lightning vapes brand. The clapton requires some practice, and a drill. You should probably start just making coils with the 24g by itself and then later move up to trying the more...

Help Deciding on a Parallel Unregulated Box

OK, well in that case, out of the wired Hammond boxes OP listed, I would get the Titan LE if I could find one. These have a very nice paintjob on the Hammond box... I don't remember where I saw a video review of it (it was awhile ago), but I think it was Suck My Mod.

Help Deciding on a Parallel Unregulated Box

I have built Hammond 1590G boxes before that have all the same functionality as the stuff you are looking at. Its a good size and is easy to carry around. The fatdaddy 510 is easy to mount atomizers. You really should just pick the one that has the paintjob you like + logo you want printed on...

MCV Raptor T6 - the new mech box from the guys who did the Cherry Bomber!

I am definitely interested... even though I have a Cherry Bomber clone already. I hope that flush switch doesn't end up being difficult to fire. But it definitely looks nice perfectly flush like that.

MCV Raptor T6 - the new mech box from the guys who did the Cherry Bomber!

In copper: Batteries no longer require a screwdriver: The switch: The top removed: So this is like a new Cherry Bomber, except without the logo and engravings that a lot of people didn't like. It's shorter than the CB with easier battery access. But it works the same way, so this thing...

Research claims vape nic more addicting than cig nic

I don't see it happening either. Which is exactly why I don't think it matters if vaping creates a dependency. Cigarette smoking rates are at an all-time low. Vaping is not a gateway to smoking. Thats the important thing that should be clearly evident by now. So the argument that nicotine...

Research claims vape nic more addicting than cig nic

yeah, i am sure it is much slower for someone using a cig-alike or ego-style device to get the nicotine. I think the issue here, though, is more about vapers who have never smoked developing a dependency and then switching to cigarettes. Thats the only reason that nicotine addiction is a bad...

Mech users, help me make upcoming battery shootouts more useful for you!

If a graph with 3.0V cutoff has all the data plus some extra as compared to a 3.4V cutoff, I'm not sure why two graphs are needed. You could just have one graph showing all of the data. If you wanted to show at what point a regulated mod would cutoff, you could notate that separately. In...

Research claims vape nic more addicting than cig nic

Well maybe its because I am inhaling a much larger amount of vapor, but I feel the nicotine right away. Its not just the physical motion. In my case, it definitely doesn't take 5 minutes. Any study showing this is flawed.

Research claims vape nic more addicting than cig nic

OK. yeah, I guess it could be similar to how some people who can't put down their cellphones, actually. All I know is that, at least for myself, I like the nicotine. Maybe its because I got addicted by smoking. But, regardless, inhaling my nicotine through vapor continues my addiction...

Research claims vape nic more addicting than cig nic

Yes, the current studies are not using the correct method of administering the drug. Slowly absorbing something through the skin is very different, even if the same amount of nicotine is ultimately absorbed. It's not like you have a craving for something and then you breathe in a cloud of...

Research claims vape nic more addicting than cig nic

yes, i've heard the argument that the only reason I am able to 'feel' the nicotine in vaping is because I got addicted to it by smoking. I never really liked that argument. We don't have any scientific evidence because there haven't been any tests of nicotine creating addiction as inhaled...
