    Kanger Co-op Cool Kids

You can change my mailed notation to received. Very nice packing job, Tib (cardboard insert and all). It's a very fine mesh; I thought it was cloth. I actually pushed it out of the way looking for the mesh.

A question for the Provari Illuminati

Something to keep in mind now: scratches and scrapes to eGos, Vamos, Lavatubes and the like are oh wells. Boo-boos on a Provari are oh my Gods. If you drop George, it might be just a surface wound to him, but the emotional damage to you will be mortal.

    Hot Spot?

The hell it does. Sounds like the instructions for disarming a nuclear bomb :)

Where did I get the idea you'd be found with a Chuck in your cold, dead hand? Who was it that told me that?

    Hot Spot?

Thanks guys. Got it. Now I'm wondering why--if shorts are an issue--why a conductive material is used to begin with? Sent from my SPH-D710VMUB using Tapatalk 2

    Hot Spot?

I hesitate in exposing my ignorance--be gentle, folks--but I've been eyeballing a Genesis tank. I'd pushed the idea aside because from afar the setup seems daunting (a blowtorch?? You gotta be $#!++ing me). I've seen enough YouTube videos now that my trepidation has settled to something...

I hadn't heard of that either. Had to Google it.

Anyone try the Aspire clearos/tanks yet?

I had to give the Aspire another chance; I so wanted it to shine, to become my bottom-coil mainstay--to justify the $10 I'd spent on it. I knew my DIY tobacco flavor I'd tried before to be selective, performing full-flower in only a small, select number of delivery devices, so I tried a...

A question for the Provari Illuminati

You may find the mini is all you'll ever need. There's always the option of the extension sleeve that'll allow a 18490, But the difference isn't all that significant and small is what the mini is all about, it's reason for being. That's the reason I bought one, actually; a saw one in a local...

CDC & Glantz "... Making up scientific evidence." (Siegel)

If you don't follow Mike Siegel's blog "The Rest of the Story," you should. It's the quickest way I know for we laymen to debunk the "expert" hogwash found ubiquitously in the media--like this, for instance...

FlavorArt makes a Condensed Milk flavor? Have they no shame? Now they're obviously, deliberately recruiting infants into a lifetime of vaping, nicotine addiction and moral turpitude?

No waffling here: I hate it. I couldn't enjoy my vape with that wide, unblinking metallic eye staring back at me.

    Steep smoke penalty to start

As I see it, an insurance company would have two options: (1) Go for the green, categorize vapers as smokers, line your pockets with their cash. Nothing, no one stops them. What motivation would they have to do otherwise? Well, there's... (2) See through the smoke the FDA is blowing up their...

I remember back in the day...

You could argue that they did--the basic idea of VV, anyway--although Provape's boost design was very much their own. Anyway, he didn't get hurt so much as he got litigious with a patent application. Then China proceeded to clone anything and everything VV.

I've had no trouble with resting it on its side, Bov, but I've not made a habit of it. The BP is solid enough that a drooping swivel-tip won't imbalance it to the point of toppling it, as it might with an eGo or something like that. My flavor comparison goes beyond the long-wick variety. For...

I remember back in the day...

This was the thread in the Provape forum that--dating from 10-19-2010--followed the progress from prototype stage to production: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provape/131028-provari-variable-voltage-mod.html

A word of advice, Bov: don't get too aggressive when refilling it. Ignore the lines on the tank wall and stop just below the lower set of wick openings. It's apt to flood otherwise, and you'll get the dreaded gurgling--or worse, leaks. I've wound up with a handful of juice more than once. Do...

Anyone try the Aspire clearos/tanks yet?

I got the larger Vivi Nova variety from Nhaler a few days ago, hoping they'd compare favorably to the iClear 30s that I--for better or worse--have come to depend on. I can say that the Aspires generally outperform the i30s; I observed no juice backwash and the skunky flavor associated with it...
