    The thread for Innokin SVD

No matter how much an Aerotank leaks, there wont be anything on the connector. There is no path to the connector like there is with the Protank etc. The air hole is on the side, not on the 510 screw thread.

New 13 hour vision spinner battery goes fast

1300mAh means that it will need to be charged for at least an hour with a current of 1300mA, or two hours with a current of 650mA, or... 1300/420 = 3 hours, 5 minutes and 42.9 seconds with a current of 420mA. In practice there will be significant inefficiencies that add to that time but, if it...

I'm looking for quality liquids in the UK?

ENJuice They have two lines, with most of the same flavours. The premium line uses components sourced in the EU. There's also Triphammer. I've not bought directly from them, but the couple of bottles I got through VapeEscape were good. Liberty Flights may also be worth a try.

    The thread for Innokin SVD

My AW IMR 18350s are 700mAh, which means stacking them will give a comparable battery life to a 1400mAh single cell. But there's a lot of approximations and varying efficiencies in that comparison which could affect the result in either direction to an unknown extent.

Just spilled an entire bottle of e-liquid

I honestly think the USA must be behind the curve here. Every bottle I have bought locally in the UK has come with a child-proof cap, a dripper tip and a tactile poison warning label. Only around 50% of the ones from the USA have child-proof caps and dripper tips and the rest are just bottles...

    The thread for Innokin SVD

Which is why I said it works "because the electronics doesn't have to work as hard to generate the 6V it uses for the PWM." The SVD uses a DC-DC conversion to change the battery voltage to one that it can use with PWM to produce the power demanded. Because stacked batteries have a higher...

    The thread for Innokin SVD

You get to add the mAh rating of the batteries, because the electronics doesn't have to work as hard to generate the 6V it uses for the PWM. But more to the point, stacking 18350s is the only way to get up to 15W. See PBusardo's review for the details.

What causes the burning when you get e-liquid in your mouth and what doesn't leak?

It isn't a hassle once you have technique sorted. If it tastes burnt I reduce the power, prime, reduce airflow or draw more strongly. If it gurgles I do the opposite. I fill the tank cleanly and quickly once a day with less than one drop of eliquid to mop up.

Stupidest question ever asked - but help on filling kayfun -

My Russian 91% I can fill in 30 seconds cleanly and easily. My Aqua clone is a pain. If I catch the threads, invert and tighten, it leaks from the top. If I don't invert, it leaks from the top and the bottom. The Kayfun is built very similarly, so I imagine top filling is just as messy. It's not...

anybody understand the vaping power chart?

There's a chart that comes with the ProTank II. If it is the same as the V1 one I got, it says for 1.8 ohm use 3.3 volts, and for 2.4 ohm use 3.7 volts. That is your best guide, and you can vary it up and down from there. Looking at the chart above, they are saying that the Protank II with stock...

does dripping/high wattage produce mor carcinogens ?

Theoretically. In practice it sometimes gets very dirty. I agree that peer reviewed data is generally the pinnacle of trustability, especially in areas where few of us are qualified to judge, but a clear report with figures is a good second best. What we generally get from ANTZ is a vague...

    battery charging

Yes there is. Firstly, chargers do not have mah. mA is milli-amps, which is a current and it is related to power. Like your house fuses have a rating in amps and the circuit with the lights on is probably 5 amps, with each bulb being maybe 100W and the circuit with the power sockets on is...

Your Single Best Advice for Newbies

There's always going to be people who gave up cigarettes cold turkey without any difficulty and non-smokers who don't understand addiction. These people have no idea what you have gone through and how important vaping is to you. They don't understand and they don't understand that they don't...

What do you need to make your "rba" top cap airhole bigger?...

I used a pointed-nosed needle-file. A lot safer than trying to wedge a shiny cylinder in a vice and wield a heavy drill over it.

does dripping/high wattage produce mor carcinogens ?

That's a pity, because it might cure her problem. Certainly with a dripper or genesis, where one can see how the coil works, the leads from the coil to the terminals frequently get hot enough to glow, a hot spot, and people can taste that. Many clearos, eg Kanger, have long leads on their coils...

    How safe is safe enough?

Just a thought that might be useful in arguing about the safety of vaping. In the UK there are 2 million vapers[1] and 20 million people doing DIY[2]. DIY uses some dangerous tools, such as power drills and power saws, not to mention razor-sharp chisels and extension ladders. These tools and...

Is Temperature the Future of Digital Vaping?

If you can read the coil temperature during a vape, (and you certainly could with Nichrome at least,) then you can control the vape very intelligently without the user having to set anything. You could increase the power until adding more power didn't increase the temperature. That means that...

Zamplebox made it to the UK! Pic Heavy

I prefer deserts, and don't want tobacco. IIRC you can't distinguish between fruits and deserts. First impressions:- 503: Mango: Good flavour but very understated. Almost not there. Hurrican Vapor: Tropicali Milkshake: Nice flavour, complex. I'm not a fan of the bitter tropical fruits, but...

What is the point of sub ohming?

Done properly, no. It produces all the vapor, flavour and throat-hit because it is vapourising a large quantity of liquid, not because it is running hotter. It isn't. It runs at pretty much the same temperature as any other atomiser. It is just very efficiently wicked and ventilated. Sub-ohm...
