I have been using mine for like 3 months now about 17 hours a day. Have some had issues sure but then so have probably every mod made out there. If mine dies tomorow it owes me nothing. If it dies I either buy another one or move onto the next new shiney mod out there -

That's unfortunate however its impossible to get a good number on failure rate. Mine preforms flawlessly but some have failed... just as laptops and other devices that are battery powered. I do however have a sx tube mod that lasted less than 2 weeks -
