I started smoking because I lived a mile or two off of the reservation. 12 years old and they didn't give me a problem, they have since changed policies. Either way if they are to be considered a sovereign nation who is NYS to tell them what they can and cannot do??
I've used LifePO4 and a couple Ultra Fire CR2s for a month without any problems...but I did finish my 'fog log' double barrel today and drilled 8 1/16 holes on the bottom cap just in case, but I don't expect any problems.
2 808d cartomizers
2 LifePO4 CR2 batteries
Just finished mine! The main pipe is a bit scratched up from testing different things. All the components are in the top cap so that I can put a new pipe in there no problem. I saw dual 901s in a post so figured I would try dual 808ds. Vapes like...
I should have my first fog log mod done today so don't take this as expert advice, but all you need is a non-conductive material for the positive connection retainer. The wired connection is from the positive terminal to the center ring of the atomizer adapter. For the spring, well any...
I've built several mini mag mods and absolutely love them when they are working! I had several that had issues with some loosing the negative connection. This was occurring at the circuit board which is under an epoxied cap so there's not much to do to fix it. My first 3 used 510 battery...
I know a couple people locally that work in machine shops and some that even run or program CNC machines. I only wish I had enough time and knew enough to design something and ask them to make it :(
I must admit I skipped a portion of this thread, but what kind of switch are you using that you cannot fit it? I use 2.5mm High Tact Switch from Radio Shack in my mini mag mods and I can't see having a hard time fitting these anywhere. They are 6.2 x 6.2 x 2.5mm. A bit of a pain soldering leads...
MrPuff, what kind of turn around are you expecting now that you have clearance to use the shop for a prototype? Any cost estimates yet?
Not trying to rush you just wondering if I should continue with my plans to built a similar mod for myself or wait and pay someone else for their work. Hoping...
A friend gave me a bottle of Spirytus Grain Neutral Spirits a couple years ago, purchased locally. It's only 151 proof, but I think this is as close to PGA as we can get in NY. I remember seeing what I thought was PGA in a duty free shop at the Can/US boarder but it's been years since I've been...
808 carto? Are there vent holes on the PT battery connector and are they unobstructed?
I had a problem drawing off of some 501/808 adapters I got in from MadVapes a couple days ago and I found the gasket like material in it was covering the vent holes. I cut the silicone away from the hole and...
I'd assume parallel vs series makes no difference. I would also assume that most mods are in series. I think that statistic is circumstantial, though having a venting port as you mentioned is a very good idea.
Longevity is great, but I can't convince myself to spend the time gathering...
I love these juice box mods, wish I could make one :( Right now I'm partial to the 808 carto at 5v. Do you think a HV carto juice box is feasible or is the basic design better for the atty models? I'd think that the feed tube would have to be split into several areas to distribute juice more...
The pipe bomb theory is a scary thought. Ever since hearing these things can blow up I've thought of my Mini-Mag mod as a gun barrel. It's an aluminum casing with the weakest end being the circuit board and epoxy I have on the end. If the Li-Ions were to rapidly discharge the path of least...
Figures there's a Juice Box auction the one day we were able to schedule a helicopter for winter jumps  Maybe we'll be unlucky and get weathered out.
Wouldn't it be easier to hold the auction on a site like EBay? Or are they not eCig friendly?
I was under the assumption you were US based because of a post in the forums stating you had two sites, one for each location. So once I went to the 'US' website I didn't look into it any further. You did say in your email response that Forest of Dean was snowed in, but again not being familiar...
