I looked at the picture again and I do see a tiny hole on the side but it looks like it has shallow grooves cut out of the top too. I'm not getting it. So not a bottom fed deck in squonking terms then. It looks like the bottom is completely covered in cotton/juice like a shallow reservoir... -

In reading the description of the B deck, it wasn't super clear on it being a bottom feeding deck. It is a bottom fed deck correct, it's meant to use with a squonker? -

Those are some purty coils that seem to go on and on and on ;) That's why I like and prefer 30ga as it keeps my coils small and manageable. I don't dry burn nickel because I'm afraid of leeching or anything like that. It's because I don't like what it does to the coils as they seem to get...- Rikk

I'm right abouts there too with an ID of 3mm with 6 wraps of 28ga coming in at 1.4ohms and hitting it with 13watts. Pretty great vape! -

I second that. I was almost intimidated to do spaced coils because all I ever wrapped prior were contact coils. Contact coils with nickel was hit or miss for me, but spaced are reliable and just work for me. They're not as pretty cuz I just wrap by hand, but they sure work and that's all that...- Rikk

So I pulled the trigger and bought the 2.5Ti. I think it will be a great 2nd device next to my black P3. The trigger for me was being able to use a 18490 battery without an extension tube. I'm running my P3 in 350 mode because I like the look and feel of the device without the additional tube... -

Okay, so I'm trying to wrap my head around a bottom fed Squape. Is this for real, and if so, what's the topper look like? This would be perfect timing too, because Vapor Flask just released a limited number of Squonkers on their FB page yesterday with wide release in a few weeks. -

Talking about ejuice that gunks, have you all tried Dolce Miele Crema by POET? Talk about a gunker. I actually had to wipe down and just not rinse my device to get it clean. But I can't stop vaping it it's so yummy! -

At least from the pics you posted, the coil looks to high. I keep my coil inside the deck, with the inside ID of the coil flush with the deck channel. I wrap around a 3mm rod, then lay the rod in the channel and tighten the leads. Then wick it. I don't raise the coil at all. I use a lot of... -

I run some gunkers too. I can usually get a rewick without dry burning and then toss on the next rewick. But to be honest, this thing is so easy to build that it doesn't take much more time to throw in a new coil than it does to dry burn and then wick. I won't dry burn any nickel. I tried in... -

I cut mine right to the side, but it's stuffed full of cotton. It's not packed in, it's just full and very fluffy. -

It's much firmer than annealed but still not as stiff as Kanthal. It is springy, but once you wrap it around your rod it stays put. It holds it shape really well. Don't torch or dry burn it. It's so easy to use, especially on the Squape, so if it gunks up, just toss it and wrap a new one. 30ga... -

I'm so sorry....this stuff is not cheap to replace. I'm still waiting on my bell cap and now I'm wondering if all glass is such a good idea. I love my nano and using it now, but I know a lot of people don't like not having some sort of window to see juice levels. But it is unbreakable. -

True to all the above. I won't use anything but tempered anymore. I even rewick it without dry burning (if it's gunky I toss it) and it still holds it shape. Keeping TP at 450 or below keeps the coil in really good shape. And depending on the juice I'm using, I can keep a coil a couple of...- Rikk

I love my P3 but the price on the 2.5s is really good. I'm wanting to pick up a 2nd Provari, and the 2.5 fits into my vaping style - rarely going over 15 watts or 5v with most of my tanks. I know it's a great device, but worth picking up over a P3 for a second device, or maybe wait for the...
