So anyway...
Just a thought while I fall asleep...
Battery venting and flush mounting atomizers with the top cap of the mod... comments?
I recently got a hybrid xxix and hybrid cap for my defunct stingray (from battery failure, nonexplosive) and wondered what the consensus was from the more...
Not quite sure on the wattage measurement... but with a .09 ohm build in a mech and a 3mm coil I am getting around 30 ml or more with and very snug wick and very well thinned tails (think 80% or more at the shoulders).
Hope that helps a bit.
Honestly, it took me nearly a year to quit and I didn't really understand that I had quit until I *shocker* bummed a cigarette...
Because I didn't want to get my mod dirty!
The cigarette did nothing for me, in fact it was very disappointing... as an avid cloud chaser who is down to 3mg...
Ms. Sparkles,
It very much depends on the device and its "low resistance cutoff". Some regulated mods (including vg ego batteries) will fire at a lower resistance than other mods... but safe is normally 1.4 ish.
The short story is that not educating a new vaper and just building something...
Coiling and homeless... wrap it tight under tension and make sure your wraps lay exactly next to each other as you make them.
Just pull them back snug with what you wrapped it on after you mount it.
Simple, no torch
Just a quick aside on gunking via different coil geometry...
Has anyone considered "post vape sizzle" as the coil cools and the sugars present in the juice congeals and forms like skin on stove top pudding that is the majority of the culprit?
Agreed from the last post, tmc's cool slower, and...
OK folks, I keep seeing this derail threads all over the place and while I love the debate for what it is, I think its advisable to give it its very ownn thread here.
Give it a shot and let's see what we can figure out in an empirical way.
Vape long and Prosper.
Rossum, this a fire pic of a recent build with a very highly tensioned coil.
For obvious reasons (its pushing into the pulse range of the battery) I won't describe how its built, short of the method to tension it.
When you wrap your coil, keep as much tension on the wire as you can, and...
When you mount your coils the first time, mount them just slightly inside towards the posts and tighten them as much as possible.
Leave your tails on the coils outside the opposite ends of the posts.
Put your screwdriver/ mandrel back in the coil and pull the coil out and up in the same...
