    Angus, it's not required at all but it makes things very easy to repeat. The rods go down to 1.5mm and maybe 1mm so you'll have no trouble at all with a kf.

    Thanks Russ, not really going for scientific but just for a result I could duplicate about what the wire did itself; looking around all I could find was break strength in newton meters and thats not something I can measure at home. Honestly, I can't tell a huge difference between the 3 builds...
