I want the new iStick.. maybe.. but most likely won't ever use the TC mode. I have NO plans on buying any more new coils- 50 is enough! so unless the gold plated center pins become available and building a coil with whatever metal that is, I'll stick with my Kanthal and 1.2-ish builds.

the eGrip CS coils look almost the same as the GS Air coils.. but they function the same, except for that extra liner inside, making wicking more difficult and draws harder.
OP, if you have a way to post a picture of your coils and base, would be very helpful!
you don't want to rotate, as that can cause the coil inside to move.. rather, get your thumbnail between the casing and the rubber insulator, and between the rubber insulator and bottom pin.. make it come down ever so slightly to hopefully get a connection to the base of the tank.
if you have a hard time getting a reading, pull the bottom pin and insulator down ever so slightly and gently to help make a better connection with the base.. I tend to squeeze them together, totally my bad!

update on the silicone insulators/grommets- it seems they are not as thick at the bottom as the originals, so I've had to get my thumbnail between each bottom section (head and grommet, grommet and center pin) before screwing in, to make sure a connection is made with the tank base.. I use a GSA...
