Unless it is my VTR that is the problem.
I did order a Nemesis and a KFL since I have heard they are the easiest to rebuild. (Of course, I heard that about PT's as well)
Yep. I've watched this video a half dozen times and followed his instruction exactly (or so I thought). Obviously I have some sort of brain deficiency that keeps me from performing simple mechanical tasks.
I suppose I need to loom at a mech mod to be able to test fire these things. Looking for the shortest one available that I can use my panasonics in. Should be inexpensive as I will only be using it to test. Would like to avoid fast tech if I can
I understand that people say steeping improves flavor. It has never been my experience that it works. I have some 6 week old BS from Gorge Vapor that tastes no different than day 1. Even if steeping does work, shouldn't I taste some flavor? Right now I taste virtually none.

I did everything like you describe in the pics (except I used a drill bit). However, my coils endue less pretty because it took me 1/2 hour to get my wick threaded, I just can't do it well even after 25 tries.
My problem was I they would only fire once before I wicked them or even put the cap on. Regarding the first part of your post, I do not understand what you are saying. I can't use regular cotton to wick the coil in the model I ordered?
I have to use steel mesh? I'm screwed then. I have none and no idea how to use it. Guess I got a couple of more item for the trash....... What a waste of $25
I am using a VTR.
I am following the videos step by step. Of course my coils are not as tight and "pretty" as the ones in the videos, but I am doing the best I can and cannot seem to achieve the same look that I seen in the videos.
