SMOK BEC PRO Bluetooth Mod 50 Watt

So caged is not telling the truth then? Calling Phil Busardo 'P Absurdo' wasn't amusing to begin with - now you're just coming across as being a tad juvenille. Smoktech did a sloppy job on this as evidenced by the lack of overheat protection.

SMOK BEC PRO Bluetooth Mod 50 Watt

It should still shut off. Pretty much all of the relevant mods have overheating protection - not rocket science, simple science. It's to protect the device and the user. See post #32(again) Caged has been a member here since 2010 - I suspect he knows what he's doing. I presume he wasn't doing...

SMOK BEC PRO Bluetooth Mod 50 Watt

Just watched the video again. The point is that the device allowed him to carry on pressing the button whilst not shutting down the mod to prevent a thermal event. What if this mod was left in a bag where something was constantly pressing against the button? This is exactly what would happen...

SMOK BEC PRO Bluetooth Mod 50 Watt

I see what you did with his name - hilarious stuff right there. Weird how this particular mod has issues - I mean the Smoktech brand name has been synonymous with quality for years. Who ever could forget the classic spontaneously combusting Groove or the wonderful air tight telescope - the one...

Made it from scratch using laser cut sections in profile, like crude 3d printing - it's my own design but I've seen very similar designs since. If the actual production mod ever gets made then they will be genuine Carbon Fibre and epoxy. normally around 1.5 ohm and about 12 watts - I'm old school.

I made a very similar SX350 mod a few months back, actually in talks with a vendor about doing a fairly large run depending on cases, etc. They wont be $40 though, that's for sure!

For sure it would have been, the PWM is a real deal breaker for me especially after the likes of the VMAX/ZMAX/Vamo. I find the vape to be a little severe compared to the Provari and DNA - it's a real pity as I was looking forward to getting one of these.

The Isticks are retailing for around €40 over here, about $51 in US currency. I've heard that Totally Wicked in the UK have the sole license to import the Istick in the UK - they're going to charge £100 apparently. scaredmice, do you ever get anything from Spain Cigar? They're one of the most...

The PWM has really put me off buying one of these, kind of Ironic considering I started this thread and I can get an Istick within a day now. Glad you folks are loving your Isticks though, maybe the next version will be better for me! In fairness I've probably got too many regulated mods as...

SMOK BEC PRO Bluetooth Mod 50 Watt

Not going to stop beginners from buying it though - I've seen posts by new vapers asking about building .2 ohm coils and then asking if Trustfire batteries are okay to use. You're correct in saying that most things in life aren't idiot proof but a good number of these things don't have the...

SMOK BEC PRO Bluetooth Mod 50 Watt

If the device performed like it was supposed to then it wouldn't be an issue - vendors aren't exactly going to ask buyers if they know what they're doing before they purchase this. I can see why Smok have got such a low RRP on the Bec now.

    Zen ZNA clones coming...

Cloupor electronics have been problematic in the past, the Hana clones had a pretty high fail rate as far as I can tell. These are V3 boards - don't know if that makes a difference.

    Zen ZNA clones coming...

There are two versions on FT - the first one they listed is supposed to be all steel including the body.

    Squape Reloaded Clone

The Kingtu version looks to be the best version, as far as I can tell they come with the 3 decks and cloned packaging - more 'counterfeit' than clones really.

Is Provape in danger of becoming like Blackberry?

So tempted - must be peaceful!

That's to stop people from buying them and keep the listing active.
