Twisted420 posted a photo of a Squape R clone that he got from Vapingtech so there is a least one version around - looks great in the picture.
Wouldn't buy from them either after kwaynem3's experience.
Hopefully I'll have mine soon.
I remember all the fuss that was made when the Ego-T's first appeared, vaping may have been more fiddly but it was less complicated - for a while is was just Ego's and carto tanks!
Hard to believe it was only a few years ago.
They actually could have sold these for $120 + and people still would have bought them in their droves.
There will always be caveats with any device, it's still a very good deal for a mod like this.
Bit naughty of them to state that it's lowest output is 3 volts - this is known as a lie where I come from.
I'm a 1.6 ohm 4 volt kinda guy so it isn't an issue for me - but it's still annoying that they haven't got their facts straight.
I hate to admit it but I've come round to thinking that this review by Todd is on the money - and I admit to being a fanboy too - the review just makes sense.
No - the Vamo is 33.3hz, the Provari is 800hz.
If you can measure the voltage using a inline meter then all is good, the duty cycle of the likes of the Vamo will give you measurements that jump all over the place.
All VV/VW mods use pulse width modulation, even the likes of the Provari.
It's only an issue when the frequency of PWM in low (like the 33.3hz of the Vamo) if it's high frequency then you don't get the 'rattlesnake' effect and you get a cleaner vape.
After reading about Zen I think he's a bit of a legend - makes me want to buy an original ZNA to be honest.
Cool and funny stuff, Zen has a fantastic attitude.
