    That's a concern I had over in the DNA thread too, but one beta user reported that the coil just popped when he did that. I guess the other upside would be that as the coil heats up, the resistance rises lowering chances of bad things to happen. It does seem like valid concern though.

    That's how I got hooked. I do use a couple of pipes while I'm still at work but everywhere else I'm running a bottom feeder.

    Maybe the planets will align and there will be a kick 3 with temp control and will fit in the kick compatible Reo.

    I cured mine in my oven. I no longer have the wife issue to be concerned about, but there were no residual fumes either.

    If you watch the video, they specifically state that when in temp control mode it DOES dump a "bunch of power" when first firing. I think it's a race to temperature and resistance rather than a race to pure wattage, but that is what they said. Having not used one, I can't say for sure, but...
