you have not unscrewed and removed the bottom of ithaka. This is the first step. -

Try the knurled ring from the ithaka. I just have and it seems to work better. Just cleaner I guess. I can just about get some air to pass with a struggle. -

Is your GGTS air controller screwed on with the o-ring facing downwards so the ring covers the hole? -

You'll also need to unscrew the telescopic part of GGTS and push down connector part. When ithaka is in place, push the GGTS adjustable connector part up until it meets the ithaka connector part. -

Firstly you screw off the adjustable airflow part of the ithaka. Then take off the brass end of connector on ithaka. Then screw ithaka into GGTS. -

I think u need to take the top of the GGTS off, then the bottom of the Ithaka including the brass extension piece. The adjustable airflow on the GGTS will be the only one needed. You will need to adjust the GGTS connector pin to meet the Ithaka centre pin. -
