My problem is that note Justin wrote. Acting like a martyr. The poor guys had to delay a flight so they could sell the Ithakas we paid for. Then telling me how I need to feel about it as a customer. Its a pretty childish letter. So before I start to sound childish (I might have already lol) Im gonna get off of here and just wait until next Thursday or Friday when I get it.
It could've been written in a more professional manner, no doubt. It's never a good idea to send off emails or posts in the heat of the moment, but can we all say we've never made that mistake. I know I have, and on more than one occasion. If anything, I think we can all agree this is a passionate hobby and community. This goes for everybody involved.
I'm not trying to convince anyone to continue buying from CoV, or tell them not to be upset. You have the right to be angry from what I've seen. Just saying to not let this anger linger in your mind. The Ithakas will be shipped. We will all have them before we know it, chatting here about everything Ithaka.
Personally I'll be making my decision about the way CoV handled this situation on any responses that are given in the coming days. Hopefully they can ditch the heated excuses, apologize to the pre-order customers, and move on, learning from any mistakes they made.
