    @Retro138 Yea. I inserted a ribbon wire instead of a regular piece. I Clapton on 22ga core. Seen pics online and was dumbfounded on how the ribbon was there. Tinkered a bit last night about a foot to see if it works. This afternoon went ahead and tried it.

    I think you need more wick in the coil. Try wrapping a bigger diameter. When using 24 I always wrap 3mm or 1/8.

    You can try any of those combos to see what you like. You can twist 28 and parallel it with 24 or 26??

    Try 3mm wrap. Are you using different gauges for the parallel? I don't really do twisted builds unless I'm using ribbon. You can twist 3 28 gauge strands each. Then put all 3 of them together and twist the opposite way.

    You can make smaller gauge claptons that would fit. Like 26/36,38,40 or fused with 40. You be surprised that it will fit.

    Rockwell, Same as your aliens. After you decored the Clapton stretch out about 3-4ft of the stitched wire. Can be same size or smaller gauge. Insert that wire through the Clapton. Get your 3 core wires in the drill. Grab the Clapton you just inserted the wire with and mount it on the drill...

    I tried. Failed bunch of times. My stitch wire would end up twisting at the end. When it goes on good for 1 inch. Then goes to hell after.
