Aliens come in a very close 2nd. You have a lot more options with aliens than with staple coil builds, though.

So its, reverse clapton on 24g? say 10inches then insert the second stitched wire through the center and twist the ends together then stretch out to 5ft then clapton forwards onto the mains, yeah?

I mean the alien wire. How far of a stretch? Stretch normally for aliens or a little flatter.
I tried. Failed bunch of times. My stitch wire would end up twisting at the end. When it goes on good for 1 inch. Then goes to hell after.
what size wire are you using for the core and what size is Tom using and what size are you two using for a 2 strand core of 26g etc etc need more data need more dataaaa

its strange cus ive always used a 24g decore for the aliens on 3x 26g, but i will put my trust in you Crazy
ive already wasted a bit of wire, i hate waste, wire is prob twice as expensive over here, is why i need to make sure before i try again

90% of the wire that was on these empty spools was used to learn how to make various types of coils. LOTS of waste.
That looks like my spool collection. I would've posted pics of mine but after constant nagging from the old ball and chain I had to throw all of my empty ones out lol
and i think my second phen-l is also busted, the screw holes are so big that when i tighten up my grub screws onto the wire the grub is forced on an angle, not sure if the authentics are the same but thats me done with phen-l's for now unless i can salvage the two attys and make one that works

I have the Phenotype-L clone as well & I think its a total piece of crap !! I don't like the way the coils sit in it, if its not as wide as the space between the positive & negative post. Plus I can't seem to get a good connection, even with 20g wire & I didn't realize I can't do single coil builds on it. (smdh) I'm not sure about the authentic, but the clone sucks & the o-rings suck too... Way too loose for my tastes, so I got this Twisted Messes clone & so far, its my new favorite atty. The phenoL would have been so much better, if it had velocity style posts, so that each wire had its own terminal... Yeah, yeah, yeah I know... Not everything can be like the velocity, but I love building on them, its so easy & its like having the best of both worlds... flavor & clouds, but this TMesses is a close runner up. I find it being able to do both flavor & clouds as well & building on it is fun too. I can't see having any issues with any kind of wire, with this beast & I love the draw, be it wide open for clouds or just 1 hole open for flavor. When I get the authentic, I'm gonna get the black & gold version.
i'm also on the twisted messes rda, i have two, they seem really solid rda's so far, ive had em pretty much from when they came on the scene.
i was vaping the phen-l between 70-100w, i was vaping singles in it with all the holes open, the only prob i had was the post threads messing up, probably from cranking down hard, oh well.
what watts do you normally like to vape at Mistaree?
