My DIDs are my out and about gennies of choice. For daily driver I need a device that doesn't leak (my DIDs never ever leak with the solid wick). I like my indestructible coil (28 awg doesn't move). I need a tank that will get me through the day (3.5 mls is perfect). I need the device to be drop...
I think I have played with every conceivable mesh types and rolling methods.
By far the best wicking comes from the thick wick with no center hole. 400 or 500 mesh works well.
Over oxidizing the mesh causes more problems with short and general wick falling apart after a short time. Below 325 as...
Tonight just for fun ....because I have all my DIDs running great with thick wick and 4 wraps of 30awg bringing my ohms in at 1.2....I decided to see how little torching I could get away with.
Using 500 mesh I cut my 3.5 x 11cm strip of mesh. I ran just the part that will be on the outside of...
I seem to have got hooked on buying the high dollar hybrids and mods as well. I think I have all of them bought now. So on to the lovely tips to grace the mods.
My all day vape used to be RY4 by Janty....I can't vape it in any genesis. I love the fruits so I run 7 different juices at a time. Most are DIY these days. It also typically have 1 desert juice and a tank of pluid on the go as well.
I have NEVER left the filler screw out. My DID's travel with me to work every day. Three sit in my pocket on Various mods and the other 4 are I this cutesy case on their side. I have no wicking problems and never have a leak. I use a solid wick just slightly smaller than the wick hole. I used my...
Sounds like you are shorting somehow when you put the cap on. I am doing the tight mesh with 30awg kanthal and it is superb. I am using 100+ mm though. This still does not fill the hole.
You can get Pyrex from theecig.com. I buy the imperfect ones clear glass tapered they are a nice fit. All the colored ones are fat and weird. For $7 a tip you can buy a few for those drops. They do shatter when dropped on concrete. My trippy tips rarely break when dropped.
You are over torching.
Cut your mesh I use about a 4" length. Hold it with something and torch the flat piece, if using propane just a few seconds on each area. Flip the sheet over and do the same to the back side. You can turn over a section that will be on the outside of the roll. Now roll the...
I am also using both and they perform equally well. I am less nervous about breaking the SS center post. I LOVE the new type of screw in the juice hole, I kept the Allen wrench screw in the negative hole as it feels much more secure this way. The top nuts are smaller than the brass and this...
