    I do the same. I keep a needle (actually a thick paperclip) in place when I wrap the coil. Tis ensures that the wick is a straw. I can fit a needle right down the center of the wick to refill. I did use the refill hole with a short needle to drain the tank when I had filled it with some gross juice.
