    You could try getting a 7mm x 0.5 tap and use it to try cleaning up the threads. But if the threads are stretched and worn like you say its probably unlikely that it will help much since the material for the threads isn't there anymore. Best bet is to change out the connector. What mod is it?

    :lol: I didn't pay attention when I took it apart or put it back together....however it ended up seems to work fine :lol: So I don't think it really matters, but it might make some sense to line up the air holes.

    So it goes base, big plastic washer, brass disk, small plastic washer, main deck....and then it gets pressed together. I put a dab of super glue on the plastic washers and then stuck them to the brass disk, that way down the road when your trying line up the 510 screw and the coil post screw...

    So you have knocked out the deck and have the brass disk loose and etc? Something like this If that's the case then I might think you don't have it pressed back together all the way. But posting a picture for us to see so we can better help might be easier than beating up the internet...

    I'm loving 29g in my TGT's :D But I need to get my Raptor put together and knock the dust off my Russian and 3.1 clone and give the R41 vertical build another go. Actually I'm going to open up the vertical channels a little bit on my 3.1 clone, just to see what difference it makes.
