    Yeah I falsely stated 18 watts but I must have gotten into the wacky tobacy or something, but the kick2 does output around 16 watts. That battery display is normal to come up with a check battery error after sleep as well as the meter "filling up"....it's just the way it is, you get used to it...

    Haha I did the same thing about a year ago....but there wasn't a kick2 then....I had to wait about six months :lol: I would only use the kick1 in a bolt for dirt bike rides and I was so glad to get back to a DNA after a ride. I think you will like the kick2 it vapes very much like the DNA.

    Unc, I think your fairly good to go to just enjoy it. You might try a pair of the Sony 30a 2100mah. I know there are other good batteries out there, but I can vouch for these as I have been using them everyday for about a month now and they are performing great.

    Vapor Logic Boutique is the domestic Taifun dealer. I believe their site is scheduled to be up 1/18. As for clones....The clone with the ® on the box is suposed to be better quality and come with some spare parts. I can't verify this as I only have the FT clone.

    In short you are correct that it only effects the input vdrop. I wouldn't change out the FT battery holder at this point. What I do know is that you want to stay away from stacking resistance or series resistance as iirc it multiplies the resistance in the circuit. To what extent XmΩ effects...

    IMO....no.....because likely if there is a problem (battery short or reverse polarity) it's going to happen fast and try to draw much more than the 8 amps and trip the fuse likely as fast as 6 amp fuse. I have ran a 7.5 amp mini blade style fuse and it trips just fine without causing problems to...
