    Alumodi, A DNA20 Build

You should be fine with a single set of paralleled fuses. I believe visus is referring to mamu's dual battery/reverse polarity thread that retired linked. Even if you do end up running two fuses you will want to run two sets of two parallel fuses....like mamu did. Your setup will still give...

    Taifun GT Discusion!

Just an FYI I believe there will soon be an authorized Taifun dealer in the US. Austin TX to be more precise, I don't think it's up and going yet. I will post more when I have more details.

    Taifun GT Discusion!

That chamber cap oring probably isn't essential if the cap is screwed on tight. I also bought the spare parts kit when I got my authentic TGT, but I have yet to replace any orings. When I seen FT offering a bunch of different size silicone orings for $1-$2 a size for 20 orings, I ordered one...

    Dna 20 battery level issues

Turbocad.....your bit about the single ground is a little misleading, since the DNA won't fire unless the output circuit is complete with either the ground going back to the board or using the housing/etc and going directly back to the battery.

    Dna 20 battery level issues

What type of watts are you running and what is your coil ohm? It's most likely your batteries. All batteries will have vdrop under load and some are worse than others. Honestly 3.55v unloaded sounds pretty good for efest's. The 3.1 voltage cutoff is under load so even with top performing...

    The "WeekEnder"

Mamu found that a fuse does both reverse polarity protection and battery protection. The DNA handles battery cut off and etc.

Flash-e-Vapor V2 rba by Artur Schwarze

Yeah the knurled base it threaded and it came apart pretty easy. No I made the disk, I have a little lathe. The easiest route would be just to swap out the wire with a decent gauge wire. 20g should work fine.

That it has more resistance than the keystone....you want as little resistance in the circuit as possible. Does it mean not to use it if you have it, no not IMO. Mike seems to be having good luck with his.

    Taifun GT Discusion!

I used CA (super glue), the tank is 22mm OD Zen short tank. But I used my lathe to cut down and bore out two FT ss half tanks to fit the glass just right.

    Taifun GT Discusion!

Finally cleaned up and got my custom made glass TGT tank into service. Now I just need to get a custom length tank made so the ss ends can be shorter. But I think it looks pretty swell as is.

BJ I think we found the Tibs battery holder!!! I think the keystone SMT battery holders pass the resistance test :D No holder Fasttech battery holder Mamu wondered about the keystone battery contacts she used, so I got some and tested them. The same battery with the keystone C...

    Battery Internal Resistance Measurements

I think the keystone SMT battery holders pass the resistance test :D No holder Fasttech battery holder Mamu wondered about the keystone battery contacts she used, so I got some and tested them. The same battery with the keystone C contact was 28mΩ and the D contact was 38mΩ. I...

It's happened, the AQUA has been CLONED

Like DW said.....it's a typical M3 thread.....I used a ss button head machine screw. It was about perfect height for flat top batteries, I ground it down a tad to give some adjustment.

I just went thru and replaced the springs in all four mechs....wow did it make a difference in all of them, but most of all the JM. The JM is now the tightest and smoothest out of all them!!! Mostly due to the thick piece of delrin in the switch. However because the JM doesn't have a metal plate...

    Taifun GT Discusion!

I like the XS tank.....but it feels like I'm filling it all the time as it is ....but I will order one when I order a dripper.

    Taifun GT Discusion!

I buy both authentic (when I feel I'm not being overcharged) and clones, as well as build my own stuff. I don't disagree with ECF's position at all. I feel it's truly a shame to the originators who offer their stuff at a fair price, but not to the others who have been taking advantage of the...
