While I understand wanting to help people not get taken advantage of, I also think ECF is trying to stand on principle. Which is fine, but ECF's stance isn't going to stop the clones being made or crooks trying to sell them as authentic. I doesn't make a ton of sense to me why the clone... -

I wish the base was 17mm (which I might make happen). I like the GS (still haven't tried it in a spheroid setup), like the GT the GS gives a lot of setup options. But I haven't got it to vape quite as good as a GT. -

I thinks for the original Taifun, which iirc is more similar to the GS than the GT. I don't think it will work with the GT. -

No, I have had good luck with the Hakko tips. I bought a tip assortment off ebay for around $10 a while back, and then got a decent assortment of Hakko tips with the SMT station I bought. Define strip down? The atty deck is pressed in, I wouldn't recommend taking it apart. As you can see there isn't much to see. The negative coil screw, screws into the atty deck and is a shorter screw then the positive which passes thru the deck and screws into the brass plate which the 510...- bapgood

BJ did you figure out how to get the origin button apart? It's actually quite easy, I like some of the design, but yes the clone definitely needs a stiffer spring....it should also help the lock work better.- bapgood

With FT.....heavens no :lol: But is sounds like the ones starting to show up are ss. The brass doesn't really bother me, it hasn't stop me from using the crap out of them so far :D.....but it will be nice to have all ss and give me two bases to see what I can create modding them :D -

Kind of off topic but did anybody get a replacement Kayfun 3.1 clone atty instead of just the new ss parts? I got kind of excited when I first saw this thinking they were sending 2 complete TGT's and 2 ss bases (then I noticed the 2 TGT's were cancelled), but it does look like they are sending... -
