Just an FYI the Kick2 actually outputs around 18 watts. I found this out with my new meter. I talked to Evolv and they verified that it does output more than 15 watts. Saying they did it as a mechanical mod vdrop compensation measure. They took some of the mods with the worst vdrop and made sure they were getting 15w to the atty.

I will have to hook it back up to the meter and test again, but I'm pretty sure it was 18w+.

build a battery box for the duel 18650. got the lipo 5000 mah very nice ! will have to drag out the sewing mashine to make a pouch for it to hang around my neck.[ out of leather ] now looking at my preveus glass layups for the separate mod with rca plugs.
looking to make the mounting of the dna20 more secure ...maybe a foam core hollowed out to accept it ? also got some balsa wood to play with. we will see.
if you ever runn across a right angle connector to fit these batterys ? they mesure 3.3 mm.
how is your girly coming along ?

Got a few FT orders today. Unbelievable, my first mechanical with a pinkie button, down right feminine if you ask me. Anyway I got this Origin to kick and really can't figure out this switch. PITA to turn it off and if I stand it vertical it fires continually. Very little or no spring in the switch.

I am experimenting with a foam "frame" myself to hold the DNA. Will take pics if it works.

Bap nailed it for an off-the-shelf connector. I just soldered mine.

The Girly is coming along. Got all the holes drilled and filed, got the lipo out of its plastic case and wires soldered to it, got wires soldered to both sides of the SS 510 connector, got a light pipe glued to the charger board, and just glued the 510 and charger board into the case.

(I wont tell you about the 2 switches and 1 charger board I destroyed in the process of all of the above)

BJ did you figure out how to get the origin button apart? It's actually quite easy, I like some of the design, but yes the clone definitely needs a stiffer spring....it should also help the lock work better.
