Clearomizers have been a headache, want to switch up gear

my :2c: on how to take the chimney off. Get yourself two pliers grab on to the chimney with one and the base with the other, and gently rock the chimney back and forth and slightly pulling. It will pop right off. I have the weakest hands going and this works :)

Think I finnally love my protank 2 mini

After complaining to myself (yes I tend to do that alot, :) ) that my PT2 mini was too airy of a draw. I was in my daughters room cleaning and saw her little craft kit with decorative scotch tape. I thought to myself. hmmm Take a piece of that and wrap the bottom of the tank and cover two holes...

Yes I would say they are good, I still use these on occasion, you can clean them and dry burn them too to make them last a bit longer, if you don't want to do the work, just toss.

I actually use a wire coat hanger for my "jig" ya I know it's a tad big, but it works for my arthritic fingers and hands :), but do slide the finished coil on a small screwdriver to set in the base. But it does work, I know now some people don't like flavor wicks, however, I just used a very...

Hi herb, do you put a "Flavor wick" on top of the coil? I wasn't and I was getting the 0.0 reading after I had put the chimney on. Pufzepplin told me to ad the flavor wick, and sure enough it stays at 1.7ohms. Still not quite as high as I want, but it is working very well. I did order the...

So I went ahead and contacted Sean at LV. less than 5 min later he responds to my email. Love how he is right on top of his emails when I have a question :) Anywho. this is his reply "The wire spools are manufactured here in the USA, but the wire is sourced from overseas" Take it for what its...

I wicked it with cotton, can I put a small thin piece of cotton as a flavor wick to protect the coil? I tried to make another coil today, and got so frustrated because of the 28gage I accidentally bought I need to many wraps to get the close to 2.0ohms I like. I gave up for the day trying...

how many times/how often do you clean your evod coils and CE4 tanks?

I tend to keep things simple, (and the fact that I'm lazy ) I don't usually clean my tanks untill I see a drop in vapor/taste production. when that happens I'll take apart what ever topper I'm using and rinse under hot water, let it dry for 24 hours then do a dry burn to get remaining...

It shouldn't leak, I'm always laying my MVP on the side. I sometimes use a glass tank so keeping it up right and risking the kitties (who like to run across my desk) tip it over, I'll really have juice all over...lol

Well I got the idea to use the wire coat hanger as a jig. ( was cleaning out the hubbies closet) No more wire hangers! :p mommy dearest quote lol. Anyway, I did have a small issue but worked it out, after checking the ohms and putting the chimney on, the ohms dropped to like .5 I'm like what...

So I finally did it, was able to rebuild a coil on my pt 2 mini. and I'm vaping at 10watts  on the mvp. I could never do that before on a stock coil without getting a burnt taste. I managed to get 8 tight wraps of 28 gauge wire, around a wire coat hanger wire. and used some cotton (not...
